About Our Vision

We are not just building buildings.

We are building people.

We are building strong families.

We are building a church that is spiritually alive.

This is your invitation to step into it.

  • What Does This Mean for Us?

At New J, we’re not building a name or a crowd, we’re building people.

People who are rooted in God.

    People who walk in truth.

People who raise families that shine as lights in a dark world.

This year, we are focusing on five key areas:

    • Deepening our connection with God through prayer and the Word

    • Strengthening our families to reflect God’s love at home

    • Raising spiritually mature disciples who live what they believe

    • Restoring the Five-Fold Ministry in every area of church life

    • Creating a culture of holiness, order, and intentional living

  • Why Now

Because the world is drifting, and the Church cannot afford to be asleep.

God is sounding an alarm. He’s waking His people up.

And He’s calling New J to be a spiritual house that stands strong, rooted in Him, and ready to lead others home.

We’re not building for a season.

    We’re building for generations.

  • A Word from Bishop & Pastor

“God gave us a mandate—to build a spiritual house. This house must be filled with His presence, guided by His Word, and alive with the Spirit. Every family, every ministry, every person in New J has a part to play. This is our time to wake up, rise up, and build.”

Bishop Melvin & Pastor Yvonne Brooks

Looking Ahead: The Next 10 Years

At New J, we believe in building with purpose. God doesn’t just speak to the now—He gives us glimpses of what’s coming so we can prepare, plan, and move in faith. Below, you’ll find the guiding themes that will shape each year over the next decade. These aren’t just nice ideas—they are a roadmap for how we will grow as a church, as families, and as individuals. Each theme reflects an area of life God is calling us to build stronger, deeper, and with intention.

2025
Building a Spiritual House

This year, we return to the foundation. God is calling us to build our lives, homes, and church on His Word and presence. It’s time to wake up, go deeper, and build something that lasts. A spiritual house that honours God, welcomes His people, and carries His power.

2026
Building Assets

This year, we focus on stewardship. God has called us to multiply what He’s placed in our hands. We’ll be learning how to grow, protect, and pass on assets—financial, spiritual, and relational. This is a year to think long-term and build with legacy in mind.

2027
Building Families

Our homes are the first place of ministry. In 2027, we commit to restoring strength in our families. From parenting to marriage to generational healing, this year is about creating households that are safe, loving, and full of God’s presence.

2028
Gratitude

Sometimes the most powerful shift is a thankful heart. In 2028, we slow down and give God thanks. This year is about remembering what He’s done, choosing joy in the small things, and living a life that honours God through daily gratitude.

2029
Dominion

This is a year of boldness. God has given us power and authority, and it’s time to walk in it. Whether it’s in our careers, communities, or callings, 2029 is about taking territory and not shrinking back. We were made to lead.

2030
Organising People. Organising Money.

Structure matters. This year we build better systems—how we lead people, manage resources, and handle our finances. With clarity and accountability, we get ready to scale everything God is doing.

2031
Living In The Overflow

God doesn’t want us to just survive—He wants us to thrive. In 2031, we lean into His abundance. This is about more than money. It’s peace, purpose, and provision that pours out and blesses others too.

2032
Evangelism

Jesus said “go.” This year, we’re going. We’ll take the gospel into our streets, our jobs, our schools, and beyond. 2032 is a call to action—to share Jesus with boldness, compassion, and power.

2033
Preparation For Change

Change is coming, and we must be ready. This year is about getting in position—mentally, spiritually, and practically—for what’s next. We’ll focus on growth, flexibility, and staying close to God’s voice.

2034
Change

Now we move. In 2034, the shift happens. It’s a year of transitions—new roles, new places, new assignments. Through prayer, unity, and obedience, we’ll walk into everything God has prepared.
