• What time does Children’s Church start?

    Children join the main service for praise and worship, then head out to Children’s Church at around 11:45am.

    We love that they get to experience worship with the wider church before going into a space designed just for them.

  • When does Children’s Church take place?

    Children’s Church runs on the first, second, and third Sundays of each month.

    • Fourth Sunday: Children stay in the main service
    • Fifth Sunday: Ignite Youth service, everyone worships together
  • How do I register my child?

    You can register your child using the link provided (or via the QR codes around the building).

    We always recommend registering as early as possible. Spaces are limited due to our child-to-leader ratios, and once a group is full, we’re unable to take additional children on the day.

  • Can I register my child on the day?

    Yes, you can register on the day if there are still spaces available.

    However, pre-registered children are prioritised, so it’s always best to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

  • Do I need to let you know we’re coming?

    You don’t have to, but it really helps.

    Spaces are first come, first served, and pre-registered children are guaranteed a place. Any remaining spaces are then offered on the day.

  • What will my child be doing?

    Our Children’s Church follows a structured, age-appropriate programme built around:

    * Bible stories

    * Christian values

    * Practical life lessons

    * Fun, engaging activities

    Everything is designed to help children understand God, grow in confidence, and build real friendships.

  • What age groups do you have?

    Children’s Church is for ages 4–11, split into two groups:

    * Ages 4–7

    * Ages 8–11

    Each group is tailored to suit their stage of development, so they can learn in a way that makes sense to them.

  • What about children under 4?

    Children aged 3 and under are welcome to stay in the main service.

    If they need space or become unsettled, we have a creche opposite the restrooms, where you can still watch the service while your child has room to move around.

  • What happens if my child is unwell?

    If your child is unwell, we ask that you keep them at home that week to help us keep everyone safe.

    If your child has had vomiting or diarrhoea, please wait at least 48 hours after symptoms have stopped before returning.

  • Who will be looking after my child?

    Our amazing New J Children’s Church team.

    Every team member has gone through our safe recruitment process, including training and enhanced DBS checks, so you can feel confident your child is in safe hands.

  • Do you support children with additional needs?

    Absolutely.

    We want every child to feel included, supported, and able to encounter Jesus in a way that works for them.

    If your child has specific needs, we’d love to speak with you ahead of time so we can make sure the right support is in place. Please get in touch with us directly.
